Where to Get Pure Water Dragon Quest Builders
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is the latest installment in the DQ Builders series.
This sequel is said to be even better than the first and it's one of the best sandbox games (with a story).
One of the first islands you will visit is the Furrowfield Island and there are plenty of things to do here.
Here's a very long walkthrough and guide of Furrowfield in Dragon Quest Builders 2.

Help the girl
After reaching the island, walk around and you'll hear the screams of a girl.
Go there and help her by defeating the monsters.
Once the monsters are dead, talk to her.
Follow her to a farm that she supposedly live in.
Make a scarecrow
Next, talk to this man named Bonanzo.
You'll have to build a scarecrow to ensure your crops can grow, by preventing threats.
Get rid of the dead plants and so on.
When you're ready, go to the work bench and build a scarecrow. You need dry grass, cord and wood.
You can get dry grass from the farm itself and cord from the creeper plants.
Plant the scarecrow in the middle of the soil and it will be marked as a field.
Plant cabbages
Next, you'll learn how to plant cabbages.
Rosie will give you some cabbage sees to use.
Just plant them on the soil that has been tilled. Only a couple of plots have been tilled.
Build an irrigation system
Now, you need to build a proper irrigation for the crops.
As usual, your character will come out with a blueprint for irrigation.
Just follow the steps on the blueprint and place the right materials at the right spot.
Also, destroy the rock that's blocking the water flow.
You can get soil from everywhere around the farm. Just knock them out.
Place the soil following the marked area.
And your irrigation station is done.
Harvest the cabbages
Once the water is there, Rosie will water the seeds.
She'll also give you more cabbage seeds to plant.
After some time, you can harvest the cabbages (image below). Just slice them out using your attack button.
After harvesting the cabbage, talk to her to proceed.
Raise the base level (when ready)
After getting a certain amount of gratitude (hearts) from other people in the farm, you can raise your base level.
Your base level can go up to level 4 (maximum) throughout the Furrowfield chapter.
When the bell's ready, just ring it to increase level.
After increasing each base level, you'll learn a load of new recipes. You normally get new farmers to join you as well.
Plant the light bulb
Next, you have to plant the light bulb to grow the Deitree again.
Pastor Al appears and he then gives you a task to grow the Deitree.
The first mission is called Sowing the Seeds of Success Part 1.
Under this mission, there are 3 sub missions.
Harvest cabbages
The first one is to harvest 15 cabbages.
This one's really simple as cabbages are already grown.
The deitree grows a little once the sub mission is done.
Make a small barn
There are other side missions to be done before finishing the main mission.
Firstly, you may need to make a small barn.
The ingredients needed are stated. Just put the relevant materials into a room and you're done.
Each room has to have two-block thick walls and a door.
Once you're done, you will get more gratitude.
Rescue Britney
Rosie will tell you about an old tower.
Follow the map and you'll reach this huge tower building.
Head to the top and talk to Britney.
She'll ask for a weapon. Use the anvil to create it.
Give it to her.
Next, defeat the legion of ants.
Britney then joins you in the farm.
Make the field bigger
Next, we have to make the field bigger.
You'll need the help of a wiggly.
Ask the rat for help.
He'll point you to this cave.
Go in and you'll find monsters. Defeat them all.
Talk to the wiggly and he'll join you in the farm as well.
He will then make the farm bigger as long as you put scarecrows on new soil.
Go to the old farm
Next, head to the old farm.
Climb over the hill and you'll see an old farm hidden.
To get him to come, help rebuild his old farm. Firstly, put a scarecrow in the middle.
Next, put some fences on his farm to close all gaps.
He will then join you in your farm.
Get the treasure
Just nearby, there's a treasure box. You'll get a seed of life that you can consume to increase max HP.
Exchange cabbages for wheat
You'll find a rat here as well. Talk to him and you can exchange your cabbages for wheat seeds.
Talk to Bonanza
Next, talk to Bonanza. He'll ask you to go to the bell and help other farmers.
Examine the bell.
The other farmers will then have their own wishes. You can help them.
One of them includes making a dining set. You only need wood for that.
Defeat the monsters
After you're done harvesting wheat, you will be invaded by monsters.
Take them all out.
Stop the Spoilspores
Your base will then have Spoilspores. You need to get rid of them.
The easiest way is to build blocks around it, to stop the oxygen. Just put four boxes around it, and one box above it.
Grow lots of crops
Your second mission is to grow lots of crops – 250 crops consisting of 5 types of crops to be exact.
This one will take most of the chapter.
Follow the dog
You will then find a dog in your base. Follow it out.
Keep going until you meet this rat at the Bog.
Talk to the rat and you'll get directions.
Follow the directions until you enter a cave with two sisters. Rescue them and bring them out of there.
Pet the dog
Next, you have to befriend the dog. To do so, you need to pet it.
You need to quietly sneak up behind the dog, and the dog must not see you.
To sneak, just move your analog lightly (not tap). Pet the dog and you're now his friend.
Talk to the 3 rats
To find more seeds, you need intel from the rats. The location is shown below.
Talk to these three rats. You need to defeat them in battle first, and they'll help you later.
Fill the hilltop cabin with water
Head towards the Hilltop Cabin.
To climb up the hill, you can create blocks while jumping up.
There, you'll meet Pastor Al's assistant to get a bottomless pot from him.
He'll then ask for your help in return for the pot.
You need to give him 50 wheat. You can get them from your farm.
Before you leave to your farm, interact with the NaviGlobe for fast travel.
Bring him the wheat and he'll give you the bottomless pot.
Fill the reservoir with water
Later, you need to help him again, to fill the reservoir with water.
Get some water from any muddy pool.
Pour the water into both the reservoirs at the hilltop.
Get back to him and you'll gain some sugar cane seedlings.
The small rats will also trade with you in return for seeds.
A Bothered Bodkin
Next, you can go towards the Bothered Bodkin symbol on your map.
You'll meet this Bodkin. Help her get some green seeds back.
You can get green seeds by defeating these monsters (that resembles hands).
Plant 5 green seeds at her small farm and it will turn green.
This Bodkin will give you worm food in return.
Grow sugar cane
Next, you have to plant and grow sugar cane. The best way to get seedlings is from the Bothered Bodkin above, and also by digging up sees from the Bog.
Your dog will point you towards the seeds and you just have to dig the ground.
To plant sugarcane, you need to have a submerged area. Use your bottomless pot to pour some water.
Make a bath house
You will then get a request to build a bath house.
You will get the blueprint automatically. Just follow the instructions.
You can even make your bathhouse high up if you love to.
Build a kitchen
You will get a request to build a kitchen too.
You need a chest, 3 sacks of wheat, 3 bonfires and 2 stacks of firewood.
Just build a regular space and put those ingredients, and you're done.
Build a toilet
Another request is for a toilet.
To build a tiny toilet, you only need a very small room and the ingredients stated.
Make worm food
You also can make worm food now you have a toilet.
Use the night soil from the toilet and mix it with grass seed.
You can get grass seed from these monsters (look like hands) at the Bog.
Use the work bench to craft worm food.
To finish this quest, you need to put the worm food on the ground.
Defeat the Bodkin Bowyers
You will then be told about the Bodkin Bowyers.
Follow the map.
Look for this bridge to reach the destination.
On the way, you'll find a treasure chest.
There, you'll see two factions. One has been corrupted and they're called purple-faced Bodkin Bowyers.
Talk to the good one who is hiding in the big acorn tree.
She'll ask for your help to defeat 10 purple-faced bowyers.
Get back to her and you'll earn some acorn seeds.
Look for pumpkin seeds
On the way to the ruin altar, your dog will lead you to many pumpkin seeds on the ground.
Just follow and dig up the seeds.
Head to the ruined church
Go to the location shown on the map.
You'll see this 'tombstone' and a ghost will appear.
He'll ask you to go to the altar inside the church. It has been changed.
Rebuild the altar
Your task now is to rebuild the altar according to the blueprint.
You can get the goddess statue and the real altar from the back, hidden behind crates.
Put them nicely and you're done.
Defeat the intruders
Some monsters will intrude. Defeat all of them.
You will then be given pumpkin seeds by the ghost.
Find the seeds underground
He'll tell you about a secret place under the altar.
Go behind the altar and break open the floor. Head downwards.
You'll find many chests here. Open it and you'll get seeds.
Look for tomato seeds
You now need to find tomato seeds.
Get to the location shown below.
On the way there, your dog might find some tomato seeds.
Plant tomatoes at the Orc's farm
You will meet an orc at the destination. He'll ask you to find tomato seeds.
Just follow your dog to the seeds and dig them up.
Next, you need to plant them. Put the planting poles on the soil, and plant the tomato seeds.
You'll earn some more tomato seeds.
Talk to the rat and you can exchange for even more tomato seeds.
Plant tomatoes and pumpkins in your farm
Once you have seeds for both plants, you can start growing them in your farm.
For pumpkins, you can plant them as you do cabbages and wheat. Nothing special needed.
For tomatoes, you need to build a ditch. The ditch has to surround the soil you're going to plant the tomatoes.
Fill the ditch with water using your bottomless pot. Next, use the planting poles and put them all over the soil.
Once the poles are there, you can plant your tomato seeds.
Build a room for Lillian
You need to build a room for Lillian as well.
Just a small private bedroom that requires a name tag. The name tag has to be inside the room and you have to choose her name.
Put 3 Jack O Lanterns
You then need to build Jack O Lanterns using pumpkin, wood and oil.
Place at least 3 of them around your base.
Place 30 buntings
You also need to place 30 buntings all around your base. You can craft them using the work bench.
Put a swing on the tree
Wiggly will ask for some acorn trees, and put swings on the trees.
If you lost your acorn seeds, you can get more acorn from the Bodkin Bowyer area. Location is shown below.
You will see many trees with acorn on it. Just knock the acorn down using your hammer.
Once your trees are big enough, put swings on them.
Furrowfield Festival
Once all the side missions are done, you can talk to Rosie to begin the Furrowfield Festival.
Defeat the monsters
Once again, you'll be interrupted by monsters. Take them all out.
Unfortunately, Pastor Al dies here. He'll give you an important item – Windbraker, before he dies.
The Deitree also gets destroyed.
Find Heartwood from the dying Deitree
This is where the last part of the mission begins. You need to build a new tree, but you have to find the dying Deitree first.
Go to the orc.
He'll tell you where to go. Head up the stairs.
From this peak, you need to fly to the other side using your Windbraker.
Defeat the monsters who are waiting at the dying Deitree.
Next, interact with the spirit of the Deitree.
You will need to find six Heartwood. This place is also filled with the Spoilspores.
The heartwood can be found in the middle of the tree. To get them, you need to break them using your hammer.
Keep breaking those light-colored wood and you'll find all the Heartwood.
Go back to the spirit and interact.
You'll be given the Heartwood.
Build a new Deitree
Next, you have to build a new Deitree from scratch.
You first need bark, as shown in the blueprint.
You can get bark from the Bodkin Bowyer area again. Just hammer the acorn tree and you'll get bark.
The location is shown below.
Get back to your farm and start placing the bark.
After placing 40 barks, your team will actually build the rest.
Find the milkblossom flower
Your main task is to find 3 flowers. The first one is shown below.
Again, from the peak, glide to the other side.
Take the first flower from the chest here. Talk to the fat rat first.
Go back to your farm, place a Heartwood at the top of the Deitree.
Plant 4 milkblossoms around the Heartwood.
Find the daffodaisy
The next flower is daffodaisy. Go to the orc.
He'll tell you where to go. Go towards the peak again.
Glide to the other side. You'll find a Bodkin here. Help her by defeating 8 purple-faced Bodkins.
Some are hiding high at the top. Look at your radar to pinpoint their location.
Grab the daffodaisy seed from the Bodkin you rescued.
Again, put the Heartwood at the middle, and the 4 daffodaisy seeds around the Heartwood.
Water the Deitree
Before finding the last flower, you need to water the Deitree with pure water.
Go to the location shown below.
You need to jump into the muddy water and you'll be able to dive all the way in.
Break open the barrier and you'll reach a hidden room.
Inside the room, scoop up the pure water.
At the farm, Bonanzo has marked all the areas that need watered. All 4 areas are on the tree itself.
Just pour the water in the small areas.
Find the coralily seed
Now you need to find the last flower, coralily.
Head to the location shown below.
Follow the instructions and you'll reach this area. You can walk across the water.
Get to the top and once again, use the Windbraker to glide to the other side.
There, you'll see many giant ants. Defeat them all.
Talk to the goo.
Grab the coralily from the chest hidden behind the waterfall.
Return to your farm and place 4 Heartwood (four this time) at the top of the Deitree.
Place the coralily around the Heartwood again.
The tree then blossoms, but lacks one final step.
Defeat the monsters
You will be interrupted once again.
Take out all the monsters.
Defeat Brainy Badboon
The final boss for this island is Brainy Badboon.
To defeat him, you need to grab the banana peel and put it in front of the boss.
He will slip.
Once he slips, keep attacking him.
The boss will later change direction of where he'll charge. Grab the banana peel and place it in front of him again.
After defeating the boss, you'll get the Leaf of Life.
Make the Leaf of Life
The final step is to make the Leaf of Life using your work bench.
Place the leaf at the top of the Deitree.
The Deitree then goes back to its former glory.
Speak to your friends
Before you leave, speak to 8 of your friends including your dog.
Some of them will follow you to the previous island.
Sail home
Once you're ready to leave, sail back to the former island.
